Abstract:
The aim of the experiments conducted in this thesis was to investigate the effect of a range
of lipid-based vehicles on the intestinal lymphatic transport of triglycerides and of two
lipophilic compounds- DDT and cyclosporine, in vivo in a mesenteric lymph ductcannulated
model and in vitro in a Caco-2 cell culture model.
