Abstract:
Service networks and the assignment of tasks on such networks are prevalent abstractions in a spectrum of domains spanning manufacturing systems, where a strict dependency on the execution of the tasks exist, load-balancing or routing, where packets are forwarded along links to balance the load and reach an ultimate destination respectively, and eCommerce applications, where (autonomous) services interact to fulfill a task request.
