Abstract

The overall objective of this material science study is to investigate the physical, chemical and optical properties of perylene derivatives with a view to understanding how these properties affect their applications in optoelectronic devices. Practical questions are prompted by the need to develop, characterise and improve organic molecular materials for applications in opto-electronic devices to meet growing demands.
