Abstract:
The series of tables and notes which form the kernel of this contribution to the Society's symposium on National Income are designed as an appendix to the recent White Paper,1 which contained the official estimates of National Income and Expenditure for 1938 and 1944-50. In order to make comparison easy and to avoid the repetition of many definitions already given in the White Paper, the various items in the accounts have in the Notes been related to the data given
in that document.
