Cenozoic flexural uplift in northwestern Ireland and sedimentation in the northeastern Irish Rockall Basin

Abstract

This study brings together for the first time in northwestern Ireland the onshore and offshore evolution of a passive margin during North Atlantic rifting and tries to contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between onshore and basin margin denudation, and basin deposition using a flexural model.
