    Description

    Fisher was a painter and engraver in Ireland, working after the Dutch and Italian landscape painting tradition. He is best known by engravings after his designs, of which a large number were produced during his career. [notes from Irish Paintings in the `National Gallery of Ireland?, 2001] This painting features Curraghmore House and Gardens, home of the Marquis of Waterford since 1170.
