Abstract
We have shown that the spectral properties of an asymmetric Fabry?Perot etalon, with a multiple quantum well cavity, are very sensitive to dispersion in the refractive index. We also show that this effect can be used to measure the dispersion around the exciton absorption features in the GaAs/Al0.35Ga0.65As multiple quantum well.
