A study of cultural diversity and intercultural education in the early childhood classroom. An Irish perspective

Abstract

This thesis examined the developments in cultural diversity in Irish society in conjunction with intercultural education in primary schools. A number of prominent themes emerged from the data which included: language, racism, stereotyping, religion, school policy, national policy and training.
