    Abstract

    In May, 1938, I read a paper before this Society on the published accounts and operating statistics of the G. S. Rlys. Co. from its formation in 1925 to 1937. The present paper is much wider in scope : it is an attempt to make a somewhat similar survey of the G. S. Rlys. Co. and G. N. R. Co. for 1938-44.
