Abstract
Social entrepreneurship education is a rapidly emerging topic in the global education sector. Several articles and special issues have made a significant theoretical and practical contribution to the topics and methods adopted to train and educate social entrepreneurs. Despite these past contributions, we believe that these published papers have neglected the discussion in teaching and developing social entrepreneurs and other stakeholders interested in hybrid organising. In our paper, we address this gap and outline the main topics related to hybrid organising structure that should be included into the fabric of the social entrepreneurship education curriculum offered by social entrepreneurship educators while training and developing prospective social entrepreneurs. Our essay outlines key topics to integrate into educational programs and the techniques that can be adopted to mitigate the tensions, overcome the challenges and leverage the advantages generated by hybrid organising in social entrepreneurship.
