    Description

    The artist was in Brittany in 1875-6 and stayed at Pont-Aven, he was one of the first Irish artists to paint in Brittany. 'On The Apple Tree' is one of a group of sixteen works which he exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy between 1876-1878. Exhibited: Royal Hibernian Academy, 1877, no. 475.
