An analysis of the Irish Census of Distribution, 1951

Abstract

To me the official Census of Distribution has a special personal interest. On the invitation of the Committee of Section F of the British Association which held its meeting in September 1937, in Nottingham, I delivered a lecture before the members on the first Irish Census of Distribution, 1933. The major part of this discourse was printed in the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Vol. C.I, part 1, 1938. It was not until 1950 that the first British Census of Distribution was undertaken.
