Abstract
Description
PUBLISHED
This report provides a comprehensive overview of an emerging second generation in Ireland, which to date has received little attention despite the rapid growth of families with one or more parents from abroad whose children are born in the country. The focus is on the ethnic, religious and linguistic diversity as well as issues that are crucial for young families such as socio-economic position, childcare arrangements and return to work.
