This document sets out Ireland’s approach to phasing out the use of dental amalgam. This is also an Action (Action 29: To progress preventive packages and outline measures, including the necessary research, to support the phase-down of amalgam in accordance with EU requirements) and a key priority within Ireland’s National Oral Health Policy, Smile agus Sláinte.
