Abstract:
There are a number of special features affecting the development of
manpower policy in Ireland. The main ones are the levels of unemployment,
underemployment and emigration and the ratio of dependents to
workers.
The primary task in this country is the creation of more jobs to reduce
unemployment and to stem emigration.
