This research study investigates the effects of working conditions on early years educators' psychological and financial wellbeing in both non-profit and for-profit early years settings in Ireland. In particular, it focuses on Ryan and Deci's (2017) Self-Determination Theory and the importance of autonomy, competency and relatedness within these working environments
