Abstract:
This policy brief provides an overview of the findings in “Understanding the Lived Experiences of Gender Minority Students in Irish Third-Level Education: A National Survey of Transgender, Non-Binary, and Gender Non-Conforming Students” as well as evidence-based policy recommendations for administrative, lecturing, and medical staff in Irish higher education. Additionally it suggests governmental policy changes to help improve the well-being of transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, gender variant, and intersex persons in the Republic of Ireland.
