Statement of the views of employers in the Irish Free State on the system of national health insurance

Abstract

There are no ready sources of information to which one can turn for collective or individual statements as to the views of employers, and the only body representative of the business community which gave evidence before the Health Commission was the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. That is why, for the purpose of this discussion tonight, I rely mainly upon the opinions then expressed, supplementing them in certain directions and bringing them up to date.
