dc.descriptionElizabeth Hannah Batt was born c. 1818 and was an amateur watercolourist. She is thought to be one of the daughters of Thomas Batt of Rathmullen, Co. Donegal. She married Caesar Otway (1809-1867) in 1846. Purdysburn house, pictured here was the home of the Batt family until the late 19th century and is now Purdysburn Hospital, near Belfast.en
