Studied at the Royal Dublin Society's School from 1848 and commenced exhibiting at the RHA in 1852. (Whyte's)
This picture is of a view in the Liffey Valley, looking south across the river from the Strawberry Beds road into the great estates of The Hermitage, Woodville and St. Edmunsbury. The view was painted from the Luttrelstown Desmesne which was known as 'Woodlands'. | en |
