TRIARC - Crookshank-Glin Collection (Digital Image Collection)
Browse by
Donated by Professor Anne Crookshank and Desmond Fitzgerald, the Knight of Glin, and administered by the Irish Art Research Centre TRIARC. This collection comprises images of Irish art of the late seventeenth to the early twentieth centuries, assembled over a period of roughly forty years. The size and scope of the archive is unique, providing a fundamental resource for the study of Irish painting. The collection has recently been used as the basic research tool for a number of definitive books including Watercolours of Ireland (1994), and Ireland?s Painters 1600-1940 (2002). TRIARC would like to thank the Getty Foundation for their generous funding towards the cataloguing of this collection.
