Abstract:	The legislation of the past session was marked by a large amount of assimilation of the laws, a subject to which the exertions of the Society have been specially directed since the committee was appointed at the suggestion of Mr. Jephson and Mr. Jonathan Pim and prizes were offered for Essays on the subject out of the funds raised for that special purpose.
