Abstract:
The material discussed in this paper forms part of a wider study entitled "Wage Bargaining and Strike Activity in Ireland: An Econometrical Study" which is currently in progress at the ESRI. The author is indebted to D. Greenaway (University College Buckingham) for comments on an earlier version of this paper, to W.
