Abstract: We present a novel method for the interpolation of the direct and early reflection components in acoustic impulse responses. The method utilizes Dynamic Time Warping for automated temporal alignment of the sparse reflections. The method is evaluated using a simple acoustic model and its perceptual limitations are presented.
