Abstract:	The object of this paper is not to dwell upon the advantages which co-operation confers upon the farmer as an institution for ordinary business puposes, but to bring before you its effect upon the "country as a medium of education, especially education of a 'practical or technical 'character, tending to make the worker a more accomplished and intelligent performer"' of the functions he discharges in the industrial life of the country.
