Abstract:
Lime-hemp concrete is a sustainable building material suitable for certain construction applications. It is a mix of a lime-based binder, hemp and water. Hydraulic lime and cement are often added to the binder to enhance setting and strength development. This research investigates the potential of using pozzolans, in lieu of cement, in an effort to make the lime- hemp concrete more sustainable.
