Abstract:
We have just come to the end of the decade, 1881-90; the census
has been taken, we have available nearly all the information as to
progress during the year 1890, which is capable of statistical treatment,
and accordingly I purpose, in this paper which I have prepared,
to take a survey of the progress Ireland has made during the
past ten years, so far as that progress can be measured by statistical
standards.
