Photograph by Roger Stalley. Detail of a shaft between the two rere-arches. The whitewash left and right is on the splay of the lancets - which run in a continuous sequence. The jamb is moulded with a large central hollow (to house a now missing endelit shaft) flanked by roll-and-fillets and further hollows. The outer hollows terminate in a chamfer where they flank the capital. This capital, with stalks in the bell and a band of barleytwist below the stiff-leaf, supports arch mouldings formed of roll-and-fillets and hollows.en
