Some economic aspects of land use policy in Ireland

Abstract

This paper sets out to examine the current trends in the pattern of land use, to discuss the factors which must be considered m any delineation of the optimum utilisation of the land m the country, and finally to examine the problems and opportunities for improving the existing uses of land.
