Born in Holywell, Co. Sligo, Gethin hailed from a deeply rooted Co. Sligo family. He later exhibited at Hugh Lane?s 1904 exhibition of Irish art at the Guildhall in London and subsequently in a series of shows in Dublin. He is best known for his watercolors, drawings, etchings and also some decorative murals and frieze designs.Role:
