'An engraving of this drawing is found in Vol. I of Francis Grose's Antiquities of Ireland (London, 1791 (should be 1794)) as Pl. 78. In the engraving the figures are omitted. The drawing depicts an interior view of Ennismacreeny church, better known as the 13th century Premonstratensian Priory on Trinity Island, Lough Key, County Roscommon, Ireland. The view looks westwards towards the doorway, with a door leading to the left and a small independent chapel to the right. In the foreground a lady and gentleman observe the scene.'
